Boat Launch Annual Permit
Door County Facilities & Parks has 7 boat launch sites available throughout Southern and Central Door County for your use. Annual boat launch permits are good for the Calendar Year, January through December.
Door County Facilities & Parks Annual Boat Launch Permit can be purchased at the Office
located at 421 Nebraska Street, Sturgeon Bay, 3rd Floor,
Monday thru Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Or by MAIL, ONLINE or at one of the 3 Boat Launch PAY STATIONS located at
Chaudoir's Dock, Robert M Carmody and George K. Pinney.

Park Reservations
All Reservations are taken on a first-come or first-served basis and are NONREFUNDABLE. All rates subject to change. No event will be allowed unless a lease or reservation agreement has been signed and placed on file with Door County Facilities & Parks Department. A Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 is required, with the County as the additional insured for all public and private events.

Hunting in County Parks
Gun and/or Bow hunting is permitted in certain county parks from November 15th thru April 1st during legal DNR hunting seasons. A permit is required from the Facilities and Parks Department. To apply for a hunting permit submit by mail or in person both the Hunting Application and Hunting Hold Harmless agreement. Permits are issued on first come first served basis.
HUNTING APPLICATIONS for 2023-2024 Season will be accepted after September 6, 2023. Permits will not be issued until October 6, 2023. Applicants who pass background check will be awarded park hunting privileges based on order applications are received. No further applications will be accepted after Friday, December 8, 2023. Be sure to take note of these dates because number of permits issued are limited.
